When I try to start a new project or open an existing one, I get an Error. "Error retrieving available libraries: Graphite.Common.LocationSettings cannot be Null”. I reinstalled the software and followed the installation guide very carefully. But no luck! Can you please help me resolve this issue?

This error happens when Graphite Studio cannot find the folder that contains the GraphiteGTC.config file or the LibraryStore folder.

  • Generally the GraphiteGTC.config file is located in the \Documents\Graphite GTC\Config.
  • The LibraryStore folder path is provided by the GraphiteGTC.config file

The Application config file, Graphite.exe.config, is located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Graphite GTC\Graphite Studio. The appSetting "configPath" can be modified to point to the right path/file to fix the issue related to finding the GraphiteGTC.config.

Also please check if the LibraryStore is installed in correct folder (generally in the same place as the Config folder).

The GraphiteGTC.config provides the paths for the LibraryStore, Library projects and Implementation projects.
