In certain laptop an Environment Variable called Platform is set to MCD. This will not allow any Visual Studio application to be build successfully. As an extension any Graphite Studio Project will not successfully build due to the same reason.

The solution is to remove this Environment variable.

  1. Run "Edit the system environment variables"
  2. Click the "Environment Variables" button
  3. In the "System variables" list click "Platform" (Check if it is set to MCD)
  4. Click the Delete button
  5. Click OK

Graphite Studio should now build the project successfully.
